November Board Meeting Highlights - See the secretary.

Welcome To Our Speakers: On October23rd, our Reverse Raffle. On October 30th, Bill Terrell was our speaker. On November 6th, we discussed the Foundation Account. On November 20th, our speaker was Frank Nebbia

Honored Guests: On October 23rd, our friends and family who enjoy an evening of fun, good food and drink, to help worthy high school students a chance to go to the College or University of their choice. On October 30th, Hank Thiely from Michigan was our guest. On November 6th, our guest was Steve Sebby. On November 20th, guests included Ed comen and Ken Bucheit from Glen Ellyn Rotary, future Rotarian, Paul Fredrichs from LPD and Christine Crowley.

Fines and Happy Fines: On October 30th, Connie was caught walking in late. Brian took his badge home and Pat paid his fine. Mr. Whitacre and Harris (2 Bob's) were fined for sitting together as were Smit and Heppe ( 2 Gary's). Rick paid a fine for his picture in the paper, and since it was political in nature, he coughed up two bucks. Brians grand daughter is in the Sound of Music @ G.E. Mike was ref for a girls golf tournament downstate. Rick's old lake house was demolished and the new one going up.Kathy was happy to be a raffle winner. Dan (me) announced that he will be a grandpa and his (my) wife is recovering quickly from surgery. Dennis' wife is recovering nicely from her surgery and he is still waiting for a grand child. Gary S. brought us a flag from his travels to far away Evanston, Wyoming. Sgt. Made all the reverse raffle winners pay a buck. And we all sang happy birthday to Gary H. and Scott. On November 6th, finemaster Brian caught Doc, Connie and JBB walking in late. Doc and JBB paid pin fines. Harris and Whitacre were fined for the seating of two Bobs at one table and the table paid a fine for excessive talking. Shhhh. Bob H. paid a large picture fine for being on the front page. Dennis announced that Karin was now using a cane. Bob M. has a birthday and he got chocolate cake. We all sang Happy B'day. On November 20th, Doc, Bob C. Rich G. and Connie were late. Bob C., Rich, Kathy Deanna and Dan W. paid pin fines. We had the two bankers fine, Tom P. left the room fine and Bob M. didn't get up when introducing the guests at his table. Chief Ed and Yvonne paid up for picture fines. Ralph had the best happy fine of the day (well the only happy fine) As his mother will celebrate her 100th birthday. WOW. We sang happy b'day to Jean, Maury and Ed S.

Announcements: On October 30th, it was announced that Bill Moran had passed away. His wake will be this coming weekend. The Reverse Raffle was a big success thanks to everyone in club. We will have a holiday wreath at the library this year. On November 6th, Gary B. Announced that a family of 10 was given a Mr Z gift card for the holidays and would like to give them $1000.00 for Christmas. Greg is still looking for reverse raffle money that hasn't been paid. On November 20th, Jean announced that Charlie was in the hospital. No word on his condition.

Object of Rotary - or Be Reminded: the first regular (Thursday) meeting of every month is "Food or $5" as members will have the choice of bringing a food item to help supply for the Food Pantry or pay a $5 fine of to support First Things First. When a speaker is not scheduled on the first Thursday of each month, the time will be spent in quality fellowship and member to member interaction.

Weekly Raffle, On October 23rd, our reverse Raffle winners were R. Kubycheck, F. Gentile, Maury, Kathy, Deb, Rick S. and Janet N. On October 30th, Rick's table picked the Queen of Diamonds. On November 6th, Kathy picked the nine of Hearts. On November 20th, Bill L. picked the King of Spades
